PUBLIC WORKSHOP NOTICE[ Project Map Download ]SR 23 (Branan Field / Chaffee) Frontage Roads From Old Jennings Road to North of Oakleaf Plantation Parkway Financial Project ID: 429304-2 & 429304-1 Clay County, Florida You are invited to attend a public workshop to discuss the proposed transportation improvements to SR 23 (Branan Field / Chaffee) Frontage Roads. This workshop will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the OakLeaf Plantation Banquet Hall, 845 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway, Orange Park, FL 32065. The workshop will be an open house format from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Exhibits will be provided for your review and Department personnel will be available to answer your questions. Then at 6:30 p.m., we will open the floor for any public comments. It is the policy of the Florida Department of Transportation District 2 to prohibit materials and/or exhibits in our public workshops, meetings, or hearings that are not the property of the Department. Therefore, no outside party will be allowed to display or hand out materials in any of these events. The proposed transportation improvements consist of the construction of a northbound and a southbound frontage road along each side of the future First Coast Outer Beltway mainline roadway. Both frontage roads will begin at Old Jennings and will end north of Oakleaf Plantation Parkway. The Northbound Frontage Road consists of new road construction along the east side of the existing SR 23 Branan Field/ Chaffee roadway. The Southbound Frontage Road consists of milling and resurfacing the existing SR 23 Branan Field / Chaffee roadway. These frontage roads will ultimately become a part of the First Coast Outer Beltway project. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability of family status.
